Help Us Choose Your
Next Mystery Puzzle Game

First — what's a Nutty Orange mystery puzzle game?
It's like an escape room and a murder mystery had a baby.
Whichever theme you pick, every Nutty Orange game is the same kind of experience: an immersive escape-room-in-a-box you solve at home. A real, physical mystery — no app, no screens, just you, the evidence and the truth waiting to be uncovered.
Examine real evidence
Over 18 pieces of physical evidence — photographs, letters, maps and sealed envelopes. Real evidence to handle, not a thin deck of cards.
Crack the clues
Decode ciphers, work the puzzles and piece the story together, clue by clue, building to a final reveal.
Uncover the truth
Self-check answer cards mean you always know when you've cracked it. No app, no Googling — the whole case lives in the box.
It plays like an escape room and reads like a detective case — made for date nights, family evenings, game nights and gifts.
How the Choice Works
Pick your mystery
Read the three concepts below and reserve any that grab you — one, two or all three.
Reserve your copy
Your pre-order claims a first-edition copy — and casts your vote with it. Cancel any time before it ships for a full refund.
We build what you back
The mysteries you reserve in numbers get made. If yours doesn't go ahead, your money comes straight back — no questions.
Three Puzzling Mysteries to Solve. You Decide.
Reserve any you'd play — there's no limit. The more reserves a mystery gets, the more likely we are to build it.

The story
Your brother Daniel was always drawn to mysteries. The kind no one else could explain. Then he found Blackthorn Forest.
In 1963, a remote cabin was found abandoned — belongings left behind, no signs of struggle, no explanation. Officially, nothing happened. Daniel didn't believe that, and the deeper he dug, the more it consumed him. He ignored every warning. Including yours.
On 24th September 1987, he packed his rucksack and said he'd be gone a few days. You never saw him again.
Today, his rucksack appeared on your doorstep. Photographs. Maps. Clippings. A letter that reads like he knew.
Someone knows the truth. Follow Daniel's trail. Discover what happened in 1963 — and where he is now.
What's in the box
- •Daniel's hand-drawn map of Blackthorn Forest, and his compass
- •Decades of Blackthorn Gazette clippings, a 1963 police report and his log book
- •The Ten Covenants, an anonymous letter and the cabin's floor plan
- •A self-check answer system — no app, no screens, no spoilers

The Vanishing Passenger
Flight VO927. 247 passengers boarded. Mid-Atlantic, one seat is empty.
Sift through passenger statements, examine the evidence she left behind and expose a web of lies — before the wheels touch down at JFK.

The story
Flight VO927, Heathrow to New York. 247 passengers. One secret.
Somewhere over the Atlantic, the cabin crew made a routine check. Every seat accounted for. Every passenger present. Every passenger except one.
Mrs E. Hartley boarded at Gate 14. Her seat is empty. Her luggage is still in the overhead locker. Her passport is still in the seat pocket. Her drink is still warm. But Mrs E. Hartley is gone.
No one heard anything. No one saw anything. And the more questions you ask, the more certain you become — someone on this plane knows exactly what happened to her. They planned this carefully. And they've already made sure someone else takes the blame.
The FBI are waiting at JFK. The case is closed before it even begins. Except it isn't — not if you get there first.
What's in the box
- •Mrs Hartley's abandoned boarding pass, passport and luggage tag
- •The full VO927 passenger manifest and a confidential crew security report
- •Passenger statements, a wax-sealed warning and evidence smuggled off the plane
- •A self-check answer system — no app, no screens, no spoilers

Survive the Crash
Flight 407 went down with no mayday. The report calls it an accident. The evidence doesn't.
Handle the wreckage of Flight 407, crack codes hidden in the debris and unravel a conspiracy — before the mountain buries the truth for good.

The story
The distress signal cut out at 11:47pm. No mayday. No warning. Just silence.
The wreckage of Flight 407 is spread across a kilometre of frozen mountainside — luggage, documents, debris. The official report will call it a tragic accident. But the evidence tells a different story. A classified manifest. A passenger who shouldn't exist. A corporation with everything to lose.
Piece by piece, the truth is waiting to be found.
Survive the Crash is an immersive wilderness mystery for 1–4 players. Handle real crash evidence, crack codes hidden in plain sight and unravel a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top. Every clue matters. Every detail counts.
You have until nightfall. After that, the mountain buries everything — and so will they.
What's in the box
- •Recovered crash evidence — the flight data recorder, a charred manifest and crew ID
- •A wreckage-site map, maintenance logs and radio transcripts to work through
- •A sealed "open when instructed" packet and codes hidden in the debris
- •A self-check answer system — no app, no screens, no spoilers
